The 16th World Transplant Games

Bangkok, Thailand

25th August - 3rd September 2007

Congratulations to both Kaylee and Graham on their performances in Thailand.   Kaylee claimed a bronze medal in the badminton and 200m as well as a silver medal in the 10 pin bowling.   Graham, although disappointing in the golf (20th of 64) finished runner up in the long jump, third in the 100m and 4th in the 200m.

The Freeman had only 2 competitors representing the UK Team travelling to Bangkok for the Games.   Unfortunately Judith Burgess had to withdraw on medical advice but we all hope she is fit and well for the 2009 Games in Australia.

The selection process for the 2009 World Transplant Games begins at next year's British Transplant Games in Sheffield from 7th - 10th August 2008.
